Terms & Conditions
1. Please carefully read the Terms and Conditions below before proceeding to use this website. By making or accepting a reservation through our website, contact form, phone, or email, and booking a service provided by our Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully accept all of our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of our Terms & Conditions, please do not use this website.
2. All services booked through this website are conducted using vehicles with a valid commercial license.
3. Our Tours are available throughout the week and at the requested time specified on our reservation form.
4. The requested tour times are subject to the operating hours of archaeological sites and/or museums included in the tour. We recommend starting Athens Tours from the port of Piraeus, from cruise ships, no later than 08:00 am. For Tours that include areas beyond Athens, starting from the port of Piraeus, from cruise ships or hotels in Athens, the suggested starting time is 08:30 am.
5. The sequence of tour highlights, according to the tour itinerary, may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control.
6. Please note that your Driver is not allowed to enter archaeological sites and museums to provide a guiding service. Only licensed guides authorized by the Greek Ministry of Culture are allowed to do so.
7. If you require a licensed guide to accompany you to the archaeological sites and museums, we can suggest a licensed guide to provide you with this service, or you can find a licensed guide on your own. Please be aware that if you choose to hire a licensed guide for the full duration of your tour, an additional seat in the vehicle will be required as the licensed guide will be in the vehicle during the tour. For example, if there are 3 persons in your party, you must select 4 persons in the menu so that the appropriate vehicle can be provided for your tour.
8. All accredited (official) licensed guides are freelance professionals by law. They are suggested by the operator and hired by you, and payments to tour guides are made only in cash.
9. Rates include tolls, vehicle fuel, parking fees, and baggage charges. VAT (where applicable) is not included.
10. Rates do not include drinks, meals, entrance fees, accommodation, licensed guides (optional service at an extra cost), and gratuities.
11. For all services between 23:30 and 06:30, there will be a night surcharge of 20%.
12. Your Driver will wait for a maximum of 60 minutes after the confirmed pick-up time. Please ensure that you are on time to avoid being considered a “Non-Show” and being charged accordingly.
13. After completing your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details and important information about the service booked. Please print this email and keep it with you during your Tour or Transfer.
14. It is mandatory to provide a valid mobile phone number that is in use and with you or another member of your party during your Tour. Please ensure that roaming services are activated for this number and that it remains switched on and ready to receive calls and/or text messages from our Company when needed. Failure to provide such a number may result in the inability to contact and/or locate you.
15. Baggage is at the owner’s risk throughout the booked service (Tour or Transfer) unless insured. Small articles such as coats, wraps, cameras, mobile phones, purses, etc., and other hand baggage are entirely the responsibility of the passenger. Passengers are cautioned against the risk of leaving any such items in the vehicles.
16. Children’s Seats: According to the EU directive 2003/20/EC, children must be seated in an appropriate child seat until they reach the age of 12 or a height of 135 cm. However, licensed taxis have an exception. If no child seat is available, children aged 3 or older can travel as long as they wear an adult seat belt. Children under the age of 3 must use a child seat.
17. Wheelchairs: If any passengers require a wheelchair, they must inform us at the time of booking. This is to ensure that we have the proper vehicle to accommodate their specific needs. We also need to know if the wheelchair is folding, manual, or includes a battery and/or motor. This policy also applies to scooters.
18. Indicated Tour Rates: The rates provided are valid for pick-up and/or drop-off locations within Athens and Piraeus city limits. If your location is beyond these limits, there may be an additional charge based on the distance.
19. Weather and Event Conditions: All our services are subject to weather conditions, traffic regulations, and any unforeseen events beyond our control, such as strikes, protests, floods, etc. If such an event occurs and prevents the proper execution of the service, we will make every reasonable effort to still fulfill the service. However, if our efforts are unsuccessful, we cannot be held responsible for non-performance.
20. Traveling directly after your Tour: If your drop-off location is the airport or port and you have a time-sensitive travel arrangement, such as a flight or cruise departure, we recommend following your driver’s precise time instructions. We also suggest purchasing travel insurance to provide extra security in case of a missed boarding. While we strive to return you to your destination on time, there may be circumstances beyond our control that could cause delays. By booking with us, you acknowledge that you accept our Terms of Service and have made the necessary arrangements to minimize potential disappointments during your travel.
21. Delivery of Services: All our services are provided as car rental with a driver, following Greek law. The minimum rental period is three hours, regardless of the actual time used. We reserve the right to deliver the services in any way we consider suitable to ensure the best performance. This could include using our company cars, hiring a car with a driver, a taxi, or a sub-contractor, depending on availability and other conditions.
22. We reserve the right to add, change, or remove any part of our Terms & Conditions without notice. By continuing to use our website after any changes are made, you indicate your acceptance of those changes. It is your responsibility to check the Terms & Conditions each time you use our website to be aware of any amendments. We also reserve the right to modify or suspend any content on our website, including product and service specifications, temporarily or permanently.
23. Pickup from Piraeus Port: According to local laws, the booking party must provide an accurate list of names and surnames of all members of the traveling party. This information is needed in advance to prepare the necessary passenger manifests. If the provided list is inaccurate regarding the names or number of passengers, we reserve the right to cancel your services without reimbursement.
24. Legal Contract and Complaints: By booking a service with us, you enter into a legal contract. If you encounter any issues during the tour or transfer, please call us immediately or have your driver contact our office for assistance. If you did not report the issues during the tour, you agree to inform us via email within 21 days, allowing us to make reasonable attempts to resolve the issues before publishing any complaints publicly. If we resolve the issues satisfactorily, you agree not to publish any negative comments or reviews about our services. Failure to honor this agreement would be considered a violation of the contract terms.
25. Baggage: For Mercedes Sedan/Saloon vehicles (1-3 persons), a maximum of 3 pieces of luggage is allowed with specific dimensions. For Mercedes Minivan or Minibus, each person is allowed 1 piece of luggage (up to the specified dimensions) and 1 carry-on (not exceeding 3 kilos). It is important to provide us with the exact luggage description for your party when requesting a transfer service.
