3 Days: Ancient Corinth, The Canal, Mycenae, Nafplion, Olympia, Delphi
(Two overnight stays in Olympia and Delphi)
1st day:
Early in the morning we depart from Athens and head west. Our first stop is the Corinth Canal, whose construction was completed in 1893.It is 6 Km long and connects the Saronic and Corinthian Gulf. Our next stop is Ancient Corinth, one of the richest cities of the ancient Greek world. There you can admire the temple of Apollo built in 540 BC. The remains of Ancient. Corinth as rebuilt by Julius Caesar in 44 BC lie not far from the modern city of Corinth. Next we arrive at Mycenae which ruled between 1600-1100 BC and whose most famous king Agamemnon led the ancient Greek army against Troy. The Mycenaean Acropolis is surrounded by 12 m. high walls called the Cyclopean Walls. At the entrance one can observe the famous Lion Gate. A little further down the hill one can find the treasury of Atreus, the best preserved prehistoric monument in Europe. Another 20 minute drive and we arrive at Nafplion, the first capital of Greece. It is towered by Pallamidi hill (216 m).Lunch will take place near the port with a wonderful view of Bourtzi castle-island. Our drive continuous through central Peloponnese (Tripoli, Megalopolis, Zaharo)to arrive at Olympia ,where we will have dinner and stay overnight.
2nd Day
In the morning we will visit the archaeological site of Olympia where Zeus was worshiped and the Olympic games were held in his honour. The most interesting monuments are the temple of Zeus (470-456 BC),the Heraeum (600 BC), the stadium(6 th -5 th century BC ) and the museum which boasts the marble statue of Hermes (340-330 BC),prehistoric finds from the area, bronze exhibits of the geometric period, archaic period and classical period. We will enjoy our lunch in the village of Olympia and in the evening we will have dinner and stay overnight at Delphi.
3d Day
The whole day will be spent at the ancient Delphi. The site considered by ancient Greeks the navel of the earth. There one can visit Castalia spring where Pythia, the high priest purified herself before giving the devinations. Walking through the main site, following the Sacred Way visitors marvel the temple of Apollo, the treasury of the Athenians, theater, stadium, the temple of Athena Pronea and Tholos. The visit ends with the museum. After follows lunch at a traditional local tavern before leaving towards Meteora passing through the city of Arahova and the mountain of Parnassos. Late in the afternoon we will return back to Athens

4th Day
The morning will start with a visit to Meteora a group of steep towering granite rocks on top of which stand famous monasteries such as the Great Meteoron, Varlaam, Roussanou, Holy Trinity, St.Stephen, Ag.Nicolaos Anapafsas, some of which will be visited. We take our lunch at Kalampaka and while heading back to Athens we drive through Thermopylae where the 300 Spartans and their king Leonidas heroically resisted the invading Persians in 480 BC. Late in the afternoon we’ll be back in Athens.

We walk into the most beautiful Byzantine city in Greece, Nafplion and then we will visit Epidaurus theatre before we depart for Olympia, Epidaurus is famous for the Theater with breathtaking acoustics than is still functioning today! Some of the greatest festivals on summer they take place here and the sanctuary of Asclepius, the got of medicine, healing & physicians one of the greatest healing centers (hospitals) of antiquity! Our drive continuous through central Peloponnese (Tripoli, Megalopolis, Zaharo)to arrive at Olympia ,where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

- We use luxury Mercedes Benz vehicles, legal and licensed by the Greek National Tourism Organization, smoke-free, fully air-conditioned.
- Rates include all tolls, fuel, parking fees, and baggage charges.
- Not included: Drinks, meals, entrance fees, accommodation, licensed guides (optional) and/or gratuities.
- Prices are per car and not per person.
- The driver will wait a maximum of 60 minutes after the indicated pick up time.
- Tours are private, personal, and flexible just for you and your party.
- For all tours except layover tours that starts/ends at Athens airport there will be a surcharge of 25% (Athens airport is 45-60 minutes drive from Athens, Piraeus port).
- For services between 23:30 – 06:30 there will be a 20% surcharge.
- Names Lists: Upon booking confirmation, you must provide a full list (names & surnames) for all members of your touring party. This is required by local authorities for all tours and failure to provide such a list may result in the cancellation of your tour.
- Driver: Please be aware that your Driver is not permitted to enter archaeological sites and museums and offer a guiding service. Only Licensed guides, authorized by the Greek Ministry of Culture, are allowed to do so. Should you require a licensed guide to accompany you to the archaeological sites and museums, we can provide such service at an extra cost, or you can find a licensed guide on your own. Please note that, if you choose the service of a licensed guide for the full time of your tour, an additional seat in the vehicle will be required. Since your licensed guide will be in the vehicle during the tour. For example, should there be 3 persons in your party, you must select 4 persons on the menu, in order for the appropriate vehicle to be provided for your Tour.
- Licensed Guides: All accredited (official) guides are freelance professionals by law, who are hired by the operator on your behalf. The Licensed guide is responsible for issuing all pertinent documentation concerning his/her services (such as receipts, etc.).
- Full day tour duration with a licensed guide is 8 hours and a half-day tour duration with a licensed guide is 5 hours.
- Licensed Guides Extra Seat: Please note that, if you will be choosing the services of a licensed guide for FULL TIME, you will require an ADDITIONAL seat in your vehicle, since your guide will be riding with you. For example, should there be 3 persons in your party, you must select 4 persons on the menu (car type 4-7 people)
- Luggage:
– Mercedes Sedan/Saloon (1-3 persons) max luggage: 3 pieces with the following maximum dimensions: height 63,5cm/25 inches, width 45cm/18 inches, depth 28cm/11 inches or 2 larger pieces
– Mercedes Minivan or Minibus 1 piece of luggage (up to above dimensions) plus 1 carry-on (not exceeding 3 kilos) per person. IMPORTANT: For each and every requested transfer service, you are required to inform us of the exact luggage description of your party.
